All smiles here after HTAC Round 1 at Big Willow! Took home 2nd place behind the crazy fast @_schmevin_ and had some epic battles in Session 1. Was able to improve my pace by 1 second in Session 2, but couldn’t improve in Session 3 as my tires were done.
Big thanks to Danny at @unrivaledtuning for helping to get the car dialed in on a new tune which really helped me keep temps down and made the car faster than it was before. Thank you to @racebredcomponents for providing an amazing splitter which helped me enter turn 8 at 136mph and stay flat through the turn.
Thanks to @titan7wheels for providing a set of the new T-D6 which are crazy strong and lightweight.

Official event report
On February 27th, Honda Time Attack Challenge, “HTAC” officially launched at Willow Springs International Raceway. The “Big Track” which usually sees an abundance of high horsepower supercars was overrun by over 35 Hondas spanning over 25 model years across 4 classes. Cars ranging from daily drivers to fully race-prepared vehicles dealt with cold winds and dusty track conditions throughout the day to fight for amazing trophies, and of course, bragging rights.
While the run groups were full, there was enough open track space for everyone to get good laps in, and competition across all classes was stiff, with class battles happening and fast laps coming out right until the end.
All drivers competing at our inaugural event received complimentary “HTAC” door number plates and window banners, as a thank you for being part of our first event. All drivers received the HTAC event badge sticker which can only be had on the event it is for.
With everyone’s pulses still pounding from the high speeds of Big Willow, we are already gearing up to do it all over again for round 2 at Chuckwalla Raceway on March 20th. Registration is filling up fast and this event will sell out. So head over to Speedventures.com to sign up today.
